Nagpur:
Energy Minister and Nagpur Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday appealed people in Umred to wipe out the corrupt Congress party which is ruling the Nagar Parishad since the past 10-15 years and kept development miles away.

Addressing an election meeting for party’s candidates in next Umred Nagar Parishad poll, Bawankule said that people have now opportunity to bury Congress and bring change in Umred. “If people here want to bring Central Government’s 110 development schemes to Umred they they must ensure victories of BJP candidates and also Nagar Parishad President. Government’s money comes to coffers of Nagar Parishad.

If Nagar Parishad President is of BJP, he will spend the money on development works. Otherwise, the corruption will go on under Congress rule. People must remember this. Farmers in this area are to be provided with solar agriculture pumps for continuous power supply. The pumps will run from morning 6 to 8 in the night. During Congress Government, the Energy Minister was from Umred but load shedding was permanent. Farmers were not getting electricity. Connections to their pumps were being snapped. Now, even after Rs 14,400 crore are pending against farmers, not a single power connection is being severed,” Bawankule claimed.

MLA Sudhir Parve:
Local MLA Sudhir Parve said that this election is being fought on development issue. In the last two years, there is no load-shedding in this part. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari , Guardian Minister Bawankule are striving for development of Umred. Various schemes are being implemented. National Highways are being constructed. The Central Government has provided Rs 2 crore for Swachhata Campaign, Parve said.
