Nagpur:
Barking of a dog led to murderous attack on two friends by a group of 7-8 persons in Hudkeshwar area here on Thursday.

The complainant Pundlik Mandekar, resident of Bajrang Nagar, told police that the dog of his friend Uttam Shankar Akhand had barked on one of the accused Munna Parmar, resident of Ayodhya Nagar, 2-3 days back. At that time, a wordy duel had erupted between Uttam and Munna Parmar. However, on October 27, when Pundlik and Uttam were passing through in front of Munna Parmar’s house, he accosted Pundlik and Uttam and again raised the issue of barking of dog. The scuffle took a bloody turn when the accused Munna Parmar, his son and 5-6 other persons attacked Pundlik and Uttam and tried to eliminate them.

Hudkeshwar cops have registered a case under relevant Sections of the IPC and probing the matter further.
