In what could be mentioned only as benevolent act, Chairman of Bajaj Auto Ltd Rahul Bajaj has donated Rs 10 Crores to Rastrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University for the new Administrative Building which is said to be named as Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building.
The Building is slated to come up at the RTMNU land on Ambazhari Road, informed the acting Vice Chancellor Anoop Kumar. He added that the building will be completed in one year.
This gesture of Rahul Bajaj is seen as a CSR initiative. The Vice Chancellor of RTMNU said that Nagpur University is the first varsity to get such a huge amount as a CSR contribution.
