Nagpur: An Auto-Rickshaw driver attacked a youth with a handsaw blade in Wathoda area on Monday evening. Jishan Shakeel Khan (19), a resident of Gulmohar Nagar, Kalamna, had gone to meet his fiancee at Gulshan Nagar, Kharbi around 5.45 pm.
An argument broke out between Jishan and auto-rickshaw driver Sajid Khan, a resident of Gulshan Nagar, over some issue. In a fit of rage, Sajid attacked Jishan with a handsaw blade injuring him seriously.

When Jishan raised an alarm, he took out a stick from his autorickshaw and again attacked him. Sajid also damaged tin compound of the house of Jishan’s would be motherin-law. After recording injured Jishan’s statement, Wathoda Police registered an offence under Sections 324, 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code against Sajid.
