Nagpur News: Lakadganj police have arrested a youth and are searching for other as they not only tried to steal a car but also damaged another car and an electric pole.
According to police, the accused youths Amrutlal Brahmanand Patil (20), resident of of Navin Nagar, Pardi, Nagpur and Akshay Baisware (23), resident of Dharmanagar, Kalamna, broke open the grills of a window entered into the house of Sanjay Malu, Plot No. 145, East Wardhaman Nagar.
After entering in the house, they took out the car key from the board and tried to steal the Honda car (MH-31/B 1051) standing in the premises of Sanjay Malu’s house. However, the nearby residents shouted and alerted Sanjay Malu. The panicky youths lost control of the car and dashed a Maruti Car (MH-31/B 3209) and an electric pole.

However, Akshay Baisware managed to escape from the spot. The Lakadgang police PSI Ingle booked the accused youths under Sections 457,380, 379, 427, 511, 34 of of the IPC and arrested Amrutlal Brahmanand Patil and is searching for the absconding Akshay Baisware.
