Nagpur: The minsters give a lot of assurance but never fulfill them. Same has been seen in the case of BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. In a number of public meetings he assured jobs to 50,000 youths of the district. But in his constituency itself it is clearly visible that the administration has been giving jobs to the 60 plus persons and not youths. It appears either the minister does not have hold over the administration or he has been turning his back on what he says.
The union minister in his every meeting had been resenting the migration of youths from Nagpur district and had made the people known that he had been making efforts to get jobs for the local and rural youths. He even assured to get jobs for 50,000 youths in the district itself.
BJP has completed three terms in Nagpur Municipal Corporation yet nothing concrete regarding jobs has come up. In fact just the opposite it has been re-employing the retired persons on fat salaries on the recommendation of the ruling party, it is alleged. The youths are now fed up with the situation and the ones with technical background are leaving the city. It appears city will soon turn into retired people’s city.
It may be mentioned that the ruling party had even promised statehood to Vidarbha but now they have conveniently forgotten.
