Nagpur: Vishva Hindu Parishad chief late Ashok Singhal’s Asthi-Kalash ( vase bearing ashes) reached at railway station here in the city on Monday.
When VHP Vidarbha Prant Pramukh Hemant Jambhekar brought Asthi-Kalash at Nagpur railway station by Gondwana Express, the VHP workers rushed for having its darshan. It will be carried by rail route to Khamgaon from where it will be further carried across Vidarbha by a special Rath.
The Rath will depict the life account of Singhal through pictures and poster-captions displayed on it. The Rath will be taken to Shegaon, Akola and other parts of Vidarbha and will reach Nagpur city on November 29.
His ashes will be immersed at Ambala tank, Ramtek, on Nov 30.
