Mumbai: Once upon a time Bharatiya Janata Party’s heavy weight Eknath Khadse and presently sitting on a fence, has got an open invitation from the Congress to enter the party.
Congress Pradesh President Ashok Chavan inviting Khadse to join Congress party said that Khadse is welcome to join the party if he wishes. He further said that if Khadse is morose and thinks of joining Congress, the party will think about it. His joining Congress will be a joyous thing for us, he said
It may be known that it is just not Congress but the Nationalist Congress Party has also given open invitation. In one of the functions Ajit Pawar and Eknath Khadse had shared the dais and so speculations started. While talking to the scribes in Mumbai Ashok Chavan spoke openly about Khadse but kept quite on Narayan Rane who has has recently left the party. The people who have left the party are welcome but who have left the party recently why should we bother about them?
