Guess what the senior Bollywood divas are doing these days? Well, they are having the blast at parties and the latest instance of them partying surfaced at a bash thrown up by Bollywood’s famous make up artist Mickey Contractor.
The famous makeup artist is known for making our celebs look glamorous in various movies and even on magazine covers that we root for. From Karisma Kapoor to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mickey has almost worked with all the top notch actresses in the industry and they swear by him. Recently the ace makeup artist completed 12 years in the industry and the occasion deserved a celebration. Mickey has also been associated with the popular cosmetic brand Mac ever since they were launched in Mumbai. From starting as a hairstylist to everyone’s favourite makeup artist, his journey has been commendable. Last night as the same cosmetic brand threw in a bash to celebrate his 12 years in the industry, they invited all the top league celebrities who have worked with the artist even once in the past.
From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kajol to Shilpa Shetty, Madhuri Dixit, Dia Mirza and Karan Johar, every celeb made it a point to attend Mickey’s special day and needless to say he was thrilled to see them all turn up. Aishwarya was also accompanied by mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan and the only person missing was Amitabh. Our B-town stars need a reason to step out in their glam best and they just had one last night. Picking their best fashion outfits and looking ravishing in it seems to be their forte these days. It was also good to see the stars of 90’s come together under one roof to laud for Mickey! Madhuri Dixit, Sonali Bendre, Aishwarya Rai, Kajol – all the leading ladies of that era came together for the bash and took us on a short trip down the memory lane. Former beauty queen, Aishwarya stuck to being traditional and opted for a black saree while Kajol, Madhuri and even Sonali preferred modern silhouettes. It was indeed a night to remember!
