Nagpur: An army jawan ends his life by hanging himself from a tree at Army cantonment in New Kamptee area on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Akhilesh Roy (27), a resident of Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, the incident took place between 6.20 am and 7.30 am.
Roy hanged himself from a tree with a nylon wire and ended his life.
However, the reason behind his extreme step could not be ascertained so far. A case of accidental death was registered by the police. Further investigation is on.
