NAGPUR: Two goons, armed with a pistol and knives, attempted to loot the Chhota Tajbagh branch of Nagpur Sahkari Bank on Thursday noon. However, the miscreants had to return disappointed as there was no cash in the bank. The enraged goons though locked the bank officials and employees in the bank and downed the shutter before leaving the spot. The incident occurred between 12.40 pm and 1 pm.
The branch under Sakkardara police station usually doesn’t witness too much rush of customers. On Thursday noon, the goons, with their faces covered, entered the bank holding pistol and knives.
