Nagpur: Live performance of the heartthrob of Millions in India and abroad Arijit Singh, with an exclusive Symphony Orchestra, was to perform in Nagpur on 1st April has been postponed to May First Week 2017 now.

Mahavir Kamdar the authorised representative of R.R. Properties the main organisors have released a statement that the Arijit Singh Live In Concert has been postponed facing financial issues due to the non cooperative stand of the Entertainment Tax department of the Nagpur Collectorate.

The Organisors have paid huge amount of taxes in advance in lieu of the tickets to be sold for the show, however, the department has asked for additional 40 to 45 lacs advance against the unsold tickets, which is not feasible.

As per the agreements with BookMyShow, every ticket sold through them have to be authenticated by the Entertainment Tax Department without which the further sale of tickets was not possible.

This has created immense pressure on the organisors which resulted into loosing on financial commitments made to all the associates.

Thus, the Organisors have no other alternative but to postpone the said Live In Concert. The same is now being re-scheduled as per the availability and confirmation received from the performer’s office.

Pramod Batraa said that its very unfortunate that the organizers had to postpone the show on these grounds, putting so many of them at a big loss those are now looking up to the organisers to get their claims settled…!

He had also confirmed that the People who have bought tickets for the April 1, 2017 show, from BookMyShow, will be able to get their tickets re-issued for the new dates or they can cancel their tickets and get a full refund without any hassles from BookMyShow.

Mr Vinod Ramani & Mr Sunil Hirani of Apex Entertainment, Anubhav Sinha, Virag Itkelwar and all other associates were present.

Wishing to give Nagpur this show jubilantly.
