NAGPUR: The Metro Services on Aqua Line from Lokmanya Nagar would be resumed from 7th December (Tuesday). The Metro services on this line were terminated from 1st December due to commissioning work being undertaken between Sitabuldi Interchange and Prajapati Nagar Metro Station in Reach IV.

However, Maha Metro, leaved upto its reputation, took up commissioning work on a fast pace and is set to execute the task before the due date. Since the work is expected to be over before the due date, the Metro services are set to be restored till Sitabuldi Interchange from 7th December.

During the period when Metro services were terminated at Jhansi Rani Station, Maha Metro has been providing free bus feeder service to the commuters. The service was operational between Jhansi Rani Station and Sitabuldi Interchange.

This helped in providing an easy access for commuters travelling on Aqua line and wishing to travel to Orange Lien and vice versa. Commuters have been using this service in a good number to their advantage.
