Abhishek Bachchan’s role as the Bihari goon Lallan Singh in Mani Ratnam’s Yuva is considered one of his finest performances till date, but the actor claims that Anurag Kashyap, who had written the dialogues of the film, was not quite impressed with it.
Abhishek claimed that Anurag probably had a different vision about Lallan and felt that Abhishek had not done justice to it, because of which, he was one of the few people who didn’t like the way Abhishek played the character, though the actor was lauded for the performance.
