Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology recently organized the Alumni meet in the college premises under the banner of PIET Alumni Association [PAAS]. In all, 63 Alumni from various branches viz. Biotechnology, Computer Science, Chemical, Electronics and Communication and IT were present.
On this occasion Prof. S A Chaturvedi ,PAAS coordinator delivered the introductory speech and briefed about the P.I.E.T’s growth and development in terms of AICTE Grants, Grant of Centre for higher learning and PG Courses etc. Dr.V M Nanoti, Principal , PIET addressed the alumni and encouraged the alumni to form a FORUM of alumni association so that they remain connected with the college and each other through this association. Prof CU Chauhan, T&P Co-ordinator ,PIET also addressed the alumni regarding the various training activities undertaken by the institution. During this programme, Alumni recollected their experiences of stay in the campus and the memorable moments they shared with the faculty.
They felt the reunion is a great time and revival for their future life. The alumni expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the faculty members and the college. They expressed their profound faith for the college. All the heads of various departments along with the co-ordinators were also present. The program was conducted by Prof. Rashmi Nimbalkar and the formal vote of thanks was proposed by Uma Thakur.
