New Delhi: A 35-year-old man hanged himself after allegedly killing his wife and three daughters in Allahabad. The incident took place on Monday noon in Dhumanganj area. Reports claim that the accused Manoj Kushwaha alias Bhullu (35) had closed the door of his house since 12 o’clock. Fearing something suspicious, the neighbours informed the police about it at 8:30 PM yesterday.
Acting swiftly, the police reached the spot and broke the door. As the officials went inside, they found the man hanging from ceiling. They recovered the woman’s body from refrigerator and found the daughters’ bodies inside a suitcase and an almirah.
“The man’s body was found hanging, his wife’s body was found stuffed inside a fridge, one of the daughters was stuffed inside a suitcase and the other in an almirah,” India Today quoted Senior Superintendent of Police, Allahabad, Nitin Tiwari as saying.
“Prima facie, it seems that the man killed his wife and daughters, and later committed suicide,” he added.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
