J D College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur, under the patronage of Indian Society for Technical Education, Computer Society for Technical Education and The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers is organizing All India Technical Symposium “Brain Wave-2014” SCHEDULED ON 13th and 14th march .The conference will bring together the students from all branches at engineering level, from all over india .the conference aim to provide a platform for all students to showcase their talent and exhibit their hidden potential. Under the banner of “Brain Wave-2014”, J D College of Engineering & Management is organizing 23 activities like paper presentation, project competition, structure making, Blind C, Bread Board Maza, Technical Quiz Competition etc.

It is expected that around 1500-1800 students will participate in the event from every corner of Maharashtra and outside the Maharashtra. The event is open for all 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year students of engineering of all branches. Keynote Session on “Wireless Technology and its impact on today’s era” is scheduled on 13th march and Keynote on “VLSI” is scheduled on 14th March, Eminent resource person from Industries and academics will be on the board of judges for all the event. Special session for M. Tech Students will be scheduled on 13th March, 2014. Overall 122 Research Papers have been received from every corner of Maharashtra and after doing peer review; only 45 Papers have been selected for the presentation. The selected papers will be published in international journal of computer, Information Technology & Bioinformatics.

G.M of Regional Remote Sensing Centre, Nagpur,  Dr.A.K.Joshi will be the chief guest, VEDC, Nagpur Precident, Devendra Parekh will be the guest of honor for the program. Dr. C.C.Handa, Senate Member, RTMNU will be the Guest of honor for the Inaugural Function. Sanjay Agrawal will precede the Inaugural function on 13th March, 2014
