The release date for the first part of Brahmastra featuring actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan has been pushed to December 2019. The producer of the movie, Karan Johar shared the news on social media. The film was earlier scheduled for August 15, 2019 release.
He captioned the image: “Part 1! ‘Brahmastra’, Christmas 2019, Dharma Movies written and directed by Ayan Mukerji.”
It is a fantasy film that also features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in crucial roles. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherji.
Earlier, while talking about the movie, Alia told IANS, “We all are very excited for the film…I think Brahmastra is a step ahead. It will take cinema to another level so, I am very excited for the next year.”
The team of the movie keeps the fans updated by sharing pictures from Bulgaria. It is being said that the release date has been postponed to avert the clash. However, the real reason behind the decision is yet to be known.
Alia and Ranbir will be working together for the first time. The stars have been in limelight for their personal life as well. They are dating and their fans are eagerly waiting to see them on the silver screen.
