Nagpur News : Suspecting something amiss at neighbour’s place, an alert man immediately called police control room and prevent a burglary attempt in Gajanan Nagar on Narsada road on Saturday late night.
The burglars had broke open senior citizen Badiram Sahare’s residence but before they decamped with valuables and cash, Hudkeshwar police nabbed one-Shaikh Iqbal, 26, a resident of Besa.
Police informed that police control room received a call alerting them about a burglary attempt at Sahare’s house. The information was passed to Hudkeshwar police who in turn alerted their patrolling cops. Cops raided the house and caught Iqbal red-handed. Police informed that his partner in crime managed to flee.
Sahare had left home on Saturday to Katol when the burglars might have noticed it and made the plan to target the next day. Iqbal was produced in court on Sunday and will be kept under police custody for two days. Police are yet to interrogate him to know about his past records.
