The accused Rahul Suryavanshi also revealed the names of his accomplices. They have been identified Roshan Subhash Singh (21) and Devanand Shravan Shirsat (21), both residents of Savitribai Fuley Nagar, Ajni.  Rahul Suryavanshi is said to be the mastermind of the burglaries.

The modus operandi of the accused, as revealed by the Police, was that these accused  would keep a watch of the houses which were found locked. They were so observant and clever in their watch and subsequent planning and execution that baffled the alert DB Squad, too.

The accused used to observe no activities by the house owners like no picking of newspapers for days together, no cleaning of front yard, no watering of plants etc. The minute observation would adequately point out the house is bereft of its owners. They then used to strike at night.
