Nagpur: This year’s Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan Concert, organised by Directoare of All India Radio, will be organised in city on October 6. The event will be held at 6 pm at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar.
The programme will begin with classical song rendition by Nandini Chakravarti. Tabla and harmonium accompaniment will be of Prashant Dey Roy and Shrikant Pise respectively. Later, Pt Dalchand Sharma will present Pakhwaz rendition. Ghanshyam Sisodiya will give him accompaniment on Sarangi Lehra. The event will conclude with violin recital by Pt SDantoshkumar Nahar and tabla performance by Pt Sudhir Pande. The musical feast is free for the spectators.
The Chief of Nagpur Akashvani’s Music Department Prakash Atram has appealed the music lovers to attend and enjoy the programme in large numbers.
