AIPGM CET 2016: Paper pattern

Nagpur: The All India Post Graduate Medical Common Entrance Test (AIPGM-CET 2016) will be conducted on January 31 by Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS), Nagpur. The exam is held for taking admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) and diploma programmes offered in various specialisations for the commencing academic session.

Duration of the courses:

MD/MS: Three years from the date of admission. Candidates are eligible for admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship.

Diploma: Two years from the date of admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship.

The entrance examination will be governed by the rules and regulations specified by the government of India, ministry of health and family welfare/directorate general health services/and orders of hon’ble courts. The candidates are advised to refer to the website/information available with counseling authority/universities/medical colleges regarding seat availability.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

The candidates should be holding an MBBS degree from a Medical college recognised by MCI and should complete the internship on or before March 31, 2016.

Paper pattern

The duration on the exam will be three and half hours. The paper will consist of 300 multiple choice questions (MCQ). Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
