AICTE granted two weeks Faculty Development Program on “Recent Trends in Artificial Intelligence” is inaugurated on 27th May at Information Technology Department of Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur. The President of inaugural function Dr. O.S. Bihade , Executive Director, Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha , Nagpur expressed his views on recent trends in artificial intelligence .
Chief Guest of function Dr. R. V. Kshirsagar , Dean faculty of Engineering & Technology, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and Vice Principal, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur, appreciated the presence of 70 participants from all over Maharashtra to attend this two weeks FDP.
Guest of Honor Dr. N.K Choudhari, Chairman, Board of Studies, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and Principal, Priyadarshini Bhagwati College of Engineering, Nagpur, emphasized that this programme is the best platform for interdisciplinary engineering faculty members to come together and share their knowledge. Coordinator of this Faculty Development Program, Dr. C.G. Dethe, Principal, Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, congratulated the IT dept for this achievement.
Prof. (Mrs.) Pallavi Chaudhari, HOD, IT Dept., explained that the objective of this program is to enable the participants to understand the nature, complexities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence with the help of invited talks by resource persons from Reputed Institutions. Prof. (Mrs.) Archana Potnurwar, proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Kubade, Prof. Puri, Prof. Ms. Ghode, Prof. Warhade and Prof. R.K. Choudhary worked hard for all the arrangements.
