Patna: The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, just 48 hours after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the capital and telling him that he was with Swachh Bharat and Digital India campaigns, made a turnaround and hit back at the BJP Government at the Centre. Addressing an election rally of JDU-RJD, commenting on PM Modi’s statement on Nitish Kumar’s DNA, he said “challenging Bihar’s DNA is unacceptable”. He also alleged that the package announced for Bihar is an effort to purchase the Bihari voters.

Claiming that his government in Delhi has been a successful one, he said “people voted us in Delhi because they were fed up with traditional political setup. We have revolutionised power supply in Delhi and Mohallah Sabha is a successful model in Delhi”.

Criticising the Centre, he said “Nitish Kumar helped us in forming our anti corruption team. Good officers from Bihar were sent to us. But the Centre jeopardized our anti corruption efforts”.

Directly attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kejriwal said that the Clean India campaign has been a total failure. He also said that the people believe that the Central Government is anti poor, anti farmer and anti common people. Talking about the alleged interference by the Centre in the administration of Delhi he said that the Central Government was acting against the spirit of cooperative federalism.

Kejriwal described Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as an able administrator.
