Aditya Shrikhande of Shivaji Science College emerged first topper in Nagpur in MH-CET examination conducted by DMER (Directorate of Medical Education and Research). Aditya Shrikhande scored 650 marks and his ranking is 13th on State level.  Similarly, other students of the College namely Suraj Patil scored 640 marks while Sejal Joshi scored 574 marks. Akash Patil obtained 566 marks, Samruddhi Chopkar and Yashashree Dungarwar bagged 565 marks, Rishikesh Mankar and Mihir Fouzlar scored 551 marks. About 158 students of the college cleared the exam with high score and are eligible to get admissions in different renowned medical and dental colleges in the State. Principal Dr. D. K. Burghate and the staff members of the college congratulated the students for their outstanding success.

Dr.  Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur:

Yutika Dongre and 19 other students of Dr. Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur clinched meritorious positions in MH-CET. Yutika bagged 568 marks and stood 183rd in rank at State-level.

Avanti Rajendra  Saoji scored 565and  she ranked 199 board Topper in girls, Atharva S Pandharipande scored 559 marks.  Atharva ranked 223, Runjan Bhelekar scored 518 marks. Runjan got ranking of 518 and she is topper in OBC Category also Board topper in girls and OBC, Nabha Mahajan scored 517 and is on 506th rank, Suyash Deshmukh scored 510 marks and is on 567th rank, Twinkal  Magar scored 501 marks and ranked 501.  Twinkal  is SC Catogary topper, Parag Tembhurne scored 492 marks, Shagun Khante scored 486 marks. His ST catagory Rank is 856 and OBC rank is158, Ojas Bondre scored 461marks and ranking of 1185, Himanshu Bhagat  scored 406, Sanika Kamdi scored 383 and got 1714 rank in OBC category, Sakshi Gandhe scores 380 and ranked 3356, Rucha Harde scored 373 marks and she is on 833rank in OBC catafory, Vinay Kejdiwal scored 371marks and 3468 rank, Shivali Chavhan scored 354 marks and ranked 82on NT category, Aditi Laswante scored 351 marks, Yashana  Chelvani scored  346 marks and ranked 4719, Akansha  Bale scored 334 markes and ranked 5276, Sayali Bhandarkar scored 333 marks, Ayush  Dondulkar scored 330 marks,  Sheetal  Sonwane scored 328 marks and ranked 1300 in OBC category,  Mrunali Meshram scored 325 marks and ranked 5787,  Neelima Korethi scored 305 marks. Neelima is the topper under ST category, Nidhi Shaky scored 305 marks and ranked 1719 under OBC category and 7004 under ML, Asawari Alabal scored 305 marks, Chetan Nandanwar scored 298 marks,  Jigisha Chhangani scored  291 marks and got rank of7854, Bhakti Khera scored 283 marks, Shreya Wankhede scored 277 marks, Ruchita Chawre scored 273 marks and got  273 under SC category, Shirin Ganvir scored 259 marks and ranked 798 SC category and Shwetal Bokde scored 254 marks.

The result of Maharashtra’s Medical Entrance Test MH-CET 2014-15 for admissions to health science courses was declared on June 5. MH-CET is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research. Of the 1.48 lakh students, 65,607 boys and 82,787 girls appeared for the exam. The total number of candidates in the open category who will be eligible are only 4,111 for medical and dental courses.
