While contesting this election he had mentioned about the house in Jankinagar in the affidavit But this house is in the name of his wife and has been built in Mouza Chikhli Khurd, Khasra number 12/1 land number 156.

Along with this he had mentioned of Mouza Khurd Khasra number 15/2 land number 64, Mouza Pipla , Khasra number 174 land number 1 and 5 acres agricultural land on Khasara number 168, 170, in Kalmeshwar’s Adasa, Similarly 3 acres of agricultural land on Khasra 146 in Mouza Champa, Saoner. The land at Mouza Chikli was bought in his and his wife’s name. While this land’s mutation has been done and is in the record of NMC. He also paid the property tax Rs 1642. He has not mentioned about this in the election affidavit and thus has misled the election commission and contested the election.

On a Public Interest Litigation filed by the complainant Moreshwar Ghadge in JMFC court number 6 the court examined the documents and found the affidavit to be misleading and so had served summoned to Kohale to be present in court on 2 April 2018.

Adv Tarun Parmar and Adv Sandip Gajbhiye has appealed on behalf of complainant Ghadge.

Kohale even changed the documents on 23/10/2017 and destroyed the old ones by using pressure.
