Nagpur: Though the accused in the daring attack on noted goon Iftekhar in Mominpura are absconding, their pictures have been captured in numerous mobile cameras of the local residents.
Sources disclosed that the goons who launched a murderous assault on Iftekhar were captured running away from the crime scene with pistol in their hands. This may prove to be clinching in the conviction of the accused persons, said sources in police department.
It may be noted here that a known history sheeter Iftekhar was shot at by four goons while he was returning after offering ‘Namaz’ at Mominpura in the wee hours of Thursday. Sources disclosed that the four accused were seen loitering around near the police chowki where the attack took place. Meanwhile, the condition of Iftekhar is said to be stable.
