Nagpur: Accused Rahul Kamble, 24, resident of Kharbi, Saibaba Nagar, under Nandanwan police station, who had murdered his friend for repeatedly teasing him over the issue of his sister’s love marriage, was arrested by Nandanwan police. He would be produced before court on July 21.
According to police, Rahuls’ sister had run away from her house and married one Nitin Sahare. Their love marriage was supported by Dikesh Barewar, 25, resident of the same locality. Over this issue, Rahul went to the house of Dikesh and picked up a hot discussion. During the course of discussion, Rahul got excited and hit hard on the head of Dikesh with a stick. The injury was so fatal that Dikesh was rushed to hospital where he died during treatment. The police have registered an offence under section 302 IPC and against the accused and arrested him.
