Thane: An accident in Thane District killed four people including a 16-year-old boy while injured five others this Saturday morning, the police said.
The accident reportedly took place around 7 am near Kihnavali bridge in Shahapur of Thane district. The deceased and the injured were reportedly waiting for transport vehicles to go to Nashik when a speeding car hit the people waiting at the spot.
After being alerted about the incident, police rushed to the spot and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, where four of them were declared dead,” an official said, news agency reports.
