    Tiger poaching accused who was at large found dead

    Nagpur: Mahadev Udke (50), absconding in the case of Tiger hunt for past two months, was found dead near Dhawalapuri-Narhar road in Parshivani Tehseel.

    The police has taken the body under its custody and informed the Forest Department which, too, identified the body being of Udke.

    Around two months ago, the Forest Department received information that several fishermen of Totaladoh Lake in the Pench Tiger Reserve are involved in Tiger Hunting. Following the tip, Forest officer of Pawni and Pench range conducted a joint operation. During the drive, Forest Department arrested 17 people possessing teeth and nails of Tigers. Udke was one on the arrested who succeeded in running away. Police has registered a case and is investigating the matter.
