AAP vs AAP

We will not break, we will not separate – we will remain ( in the party), we shall reform it – and if necessary reform ourselves” said Yogendra Yadav, on the eve of the AAP meeting where indications are that he and Bhushan are on their way out at the end of it.

Kejriwal has taken himself out of the scene by going  to Banglore ostensibly for a treatment for his ailing health. Banglore is well known for its Naturopathy Hospital, Jindal and other such spas where Kejriwal could be getting admitted for 10 days.

Mr Kejriwal, 46, is not well and has reportedly been advised naturopathy treatment by doctors for high blood sugar and coughing, AAP sources said, adding that the AAP’s national convenor is likely to take 10 days leave from March 5 and fly to Bengaluru for treatment.

His second-in-command Manish Sisodia will take charge as acting Chief Minister during that time.

Sources said his skipping the national executive meeting today will also allow him to be absent when party leaders discuss and vote on whether  Yadav and Bhushan should be removed from the decision-making Political Affairs Committee of AAP.

Yesterday, concilliatory voice came from Prashant’s father Shanti Bhushan who said that everyone has to come together and say together as respect to Delhi people’s mandate. He also clarified that they do not want Kejriwal to give up any post – neither that of CM or Party leadership.

But will it be too little too late?
