Aamir Khan who is prepping up for the release of his next awaited movie Dangal towards the year end, is now in news for another big reason. If sources are to be believed Aamir is in talks with Yash Raj Films to finalise a film called Thug in which he is being cast opposite Deepika Padukone. While we have been hearing about Salman and Deepika to pair up together on screen, here’s Aamir taking the lead!
If reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone might just romance each other in ‘Thug’, to be directed by Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya. Interestingly, it was Hrithik Roshan who was earlier cast to play the lead in the film opposite Deepika, however, after Hrithik opted out of the film, there have news reports claiming that Aamir will most likely come on board. For those not in the know, Aamir had earlier worked with director Vijay Krishna Acharya in ‘Dhoom 3’ which too was a YRF film. And now, if Aamir signs on the dotted line then ‘Thug’ will be his second film with the director and third with the prestigious production house, apart from being a first opposite Deepika Padukone. Another intriguing fact is that after ‘Dhoom 3’, Aamir will again be seen playing a thief in the film.
