Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is finally out on cinema screens with the theatrical release of his most awaited flick ‘PK’. And hold on…this is not the news, actually! The move which created a lot of buzz is Aamir’s decision to make his first trailer of PK go big screen with Shahrukh Khan’s just released’Happy New Year’.
Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan rivalry has made headlines since always. With this act it seems the rivalry may just get encouraged! This isn’t the first time for such ‘Aamir-SRK’ event to happen! Aamir Khan has done it before. Although Aamir keeps saying that it’s not deliberate, yet again there has been a clash of Aamir and Shah Rukh‘s events.
To list a few, in 2008, Shah Rukh’s and Anushka Sharma’s ‘Rab Ne Banadi Jodi’ was still getting screened at the theatres, Aamir used his termed-to-be ‘Marketing brain’ and made the ushers of the theatre get the Ghajini cut. His action bonanza was slated to release within a few days of Rab Ne Banadi Jodi… Many criticized his move of basking in reflected glory while other lauded his unique skills of using Shah Rukh’s film for his own gain.
The episode got repeated during the trailer launch of Happy New Year. A day before the event was scheduled,Aamir released the first nude poster of PK, trying to snatch away Happy New Year’s glory. But it seems two Khan’s can easily co-exist in creating a grand hoopla.
The day after the music launch Happy New Year, Aamir released the second poster of PK, probably trying to cash in on the SRK frenzy.
Aamir’s efforts couldn’t dilute Shah Rukh Khan’s grandness while it created a storm, with Happy New Yeardoing really well in the box office!
