Nagpur: Cardiological Society of India (CSI) Vidarbha Chapter in collaboration with and Peace Foundation has organised a Programme on Prevention of Heart Attack on Sunday 27-08 2017 from 5.30 p.m. at Scientific Sabhagruh, Laxminagar. A painting Exhibition on” Healthy Lifestyle and Healthy Heart” by school children will also be displayed at the event.
There will be also a Public Awareness Programme on “Heart Attack –How to treat and How to Prevent Heart attack.” Dr. Shankar Khobragade, Physician; Dr. Aziz Khan, Cardiologist; Dr. PrashantJagtap, Cardiologist and Dr. PramodMundra, Cardiologist and Dr. JayashriPendharkar , Dietician are the speakers for the forum who will interact with the audience and address common myths and misconceptions about heart disease and guide on prevention, first aid etc.
Added attraction is there will be free screening of Blood Pressure and Blood sugar at the venue. Entry for the programme is also free.
Dr. Ram Ghodeswar, President of CSI & Dr. PankajHarkut Secretary, CSI, have appealed general public to take advantage of the programme and attend in large numbers.
