Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering & Technology is organizing an International Conference TechEd-2015 on Science Technology and Mathematics Education-Trends and Alignments with Industry Needs on April 22 and 23, 2015. The Chief Guest for the Conference is Vice Chancellor, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli Dr. Kirtiwardhan Dixit, Guest of Honor is President, Indian Society for Technical Education, Delhi Prof. Pratapsinh K. Desai and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Dr R V Kshirsagar and President for the Conference is President, GPGI Prof. Sharad Patil.

Chairman, GPG Dr. Mohan Gaikwad, Director International Relations, GPGI Dr. Anjali Patil-Gaikwad, Director General, GPGI Col. Rahul Sharma, Director Research, GPGI Dr. D. P. Kothari, Principal of TGPCET Dr. G.K. Awari have been a source of continuous motivation for this conference.

While addressing the media personnel, Director Research, GPGI Dr. D. P. Kothari and Principal of TGPCET Dr. G.K. Awari informed that this is the first time that the college is organizing such a conference of such magnitude. However, they have received a very good response. They already have 500 registrations and 80 delegates from their own college.

The Conference is an effort to serve a platform for a dialogue between the researchers and teachers of Engineering, Science, Technology and Management. The major goal of the Conference is to drive in innovations to help the students in getting aware of the latest technologies and business strategies in their respective fields.

TechEd-2015 will be addressed by Former Director of ISRO Bangalore Dr. T G K Murty, General Manager HRM of ThyssenKrupp Industries Pvt. Ltd N. Gavhane, Senior Director of Engineering Symantic, Banglore Rama Voruganti, Senior General Manager of BSNL Nagpur A R Sawatkar, Director of NECO Defence System Ltd. D. P. Sarma, and Director of Godbole Gates Pvt. Ltd. P. Godbole.

The inaugural function of the Conference is scheduled on April 22, April 2015, in college campus. More than 500 scholars mainly from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, across the country and foreign delegates from countries like Hungary, in various domains of the Conference.

The Conference is scheduled for two days. On the April 22, 2015 evening, there will be a panel discussion on “Aligning engineering education to industry needs & industry ownership in H.R. creation”. Panel members for the discussion will be Member of Management Council Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Dr. D.K. Agarwal, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Dr. R.V. Kshirsagar, Chief Editor of The Hitavada Nagpur Vijay Phanshikar, Principal of KITS College of Engineering Ramtek Dr. Bhaskar Patel, Former Managing Director of Global Logic, India Shashikant Chaudhary, Divisional Manager of TAL- Aerospace Business Unit- TATA Group Ashish Khole.

On April 23, 2015, Technical Paper Presentations are scheduled in the respective domains of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration. The events will take place in TGPCET college premises.

The Conference is arranged in association with Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, Department of Management Studies RTM Nagpur University, The Institution of Engineers (India) and BSNL, Adani Power, Industrial X-Ray and Allied Photographers (IXAR) Pvt.
