The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), cracking the whip on Property Tax defaulters further, seized several properties of individuals and other entities in Mangalwari, Satranjipura and Ashi Nagar Zones and recovered the pending tax dues amounting in lakhs.
In Ward No 61 and 67 of Mangalwari Zone No. 10, the NMC seized properties of six non-payers and recovered pending Property Tax dues to the tune of Rs 2,52,689.

Similarly, in Satranjipura Zone No. 7, house property of six defaulters was seized and the pending Property Tax dues amounting to lakhs of rupees were recovered.
In Ward No. 57 of Ashi Nagar Zone, 10 properties housing offices of companies such as GTL Infratech Limited, Jaiprakash GNGS, M/s Nagpur Casting Pvt Ltd, M/s Jwala Industries Pvt Ltd, M/s Sangam Plastics and Telecom Infra Pvt Ltd were seized and Property Tax in lakhs was recovered from the defaulting owners.
