Nagpur: Every Diwali, when other children enjoy with their families, those homeless orphan children feel lonely and isolated. That is where Parinday Youth Foundation comes in. Like every year, this year too they have organized a cultural programme – Navtej 2014, for the children from a few orphanages from October 19. The orphan children will be given an opportunity to present dance performance, singing and participating in various cultural activities to be held at Agrasen Bhawan.

As the first President of Uzbekistan Islom Karimo rightly said, “A person may rightfully be happy if in this life he could do a great favor for widows and orphans and supporting them in every possible way. There are many ways to get involved in helping the orphan children. One feels a real sense of pride for helping to improve the lives of orphan children.

The Parinday Youth Foundation, which aims to undergo welfare work for a upliftment of society says that “Charity is something more than mere kindness. It is not a beggar’s dole that we offer and then pass on and forget. It is not mere composition based on feeling of superiority, as though conferring some favour.” The Foundation has been organizing various programmes for the orphan children in the city.

Organizing such an activity on a large scale would cost a lot. The organizers of this cultural festival for orphans named Parinday Youth Foundation have thought of a novel way of raising funds. They will be collecting old discarded newspapers, old waste material which they will collect and sell that to raise money for the cultural festival. The organizers appeal to the citizens of the city to kindly donate the scra[ at their collection centre at 67, Farmland Indrayani, Ramdespeth Nagpur.
