An excellent initiative of ICICI Bank showcased an unique mix of interactive and theatrical role play titled “Kissa Kursi Ka” wherein they dwelt on the new look at the succession planning of family business recently and real life scenarios and what decisions should one take in such scenarios. Against the usual power-point presentation and monotonous lectures and panel discussions, the “nukkad natak” was really refreshing.
Chief Knowledge Resource of Strategic Concepts Pvt Ltd Sanjay Singh and Group Director of Raisoni Group of Institutions Dr Ravi Aher along with other artists Shriram Joshi and Mili Juneja brought out some very vital concepts that haunt every businessman, entrepreneur. Many face very vital issues like:
• Whom should I give my business so that my Legacy continues?
• Do my children have the same passion that I have in this business?
• How do I go about handing over the reins to the next generation?
Not only was the play very entertaining where the players incorporated the audience but making the entire play as well.
The audience had their fill of laughter and as one lady from the audience summed it well, every businessman, entrepreneur or trader sitting there could identify with the artists playing the role. The panel discussion was the cherry on top of the icing, where President of Butibori Manufacturers’ Association Pradeep Khandelwal, Deputy General Manager of ICICI Ashish Bafna, President of Vidarbha Industries Association Atul Pande and CA BC Bhartia were seen answering to all queries with apt points.
