Nagpur News : The Tournament was inaugurated today on 15th may 2014. The Chief Guest of the Tournament was Manoj Wasnik, Director of PWS College, B.C.Borkat , Leo Franswa president and treasurer of bahujanwadi Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar krida mandal, Bezonbag, Nagpur and Y M Shyamkuwar were the guests present on the Dias. The Tournament was inaugurated by Manoj Wasnik who played the 1st move and declared the tournament Open.
The Chief Arbiter of the Tournament was Anurag Singh, Assisted byUmesh Lalwani and Dipesh Lalwani.
Another Main Attraction of the tournament was Ku . Kanak Dhanvijay (age– 5 years) who was the Youngest Player of the Tournament. She scored one point out of 2 games on the day one of the Tournament.
Bhimandas Kewalramani(Unrated) Shocked Seeded player Promod Dhamgaye (Elo.1658) and Shared the Lead with others, Reetish Rath(Unrated) Shocked Disha Suryavanshi(Elo.1297), while on another board Rujul Shinde(unrated) played Draw with Nilesh Bankar(Elo.1241)
