Nagpur: The top management at Rasthrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur have once again caught the eye of storm yet again as lakhs of rupees kept in lockers of exam center in the university premises went missing mysteriously. The incident has brought the varsity activities below the clouds.

NSUI leaders protested against the theft and demanded an inquiry. Sensing the situation Controller of Examination Dr Neeraj Khati then informed police officials. The news unleashed furore among the NSUI leaders.

Youth Congress leader Ajeet Singh informed that on March 3 NSUI met examination control officials in connection with the missing money and even spoke to Vice-Chancellor S P Kane.

However no complaint was registered at any police station even after two days. This has raised serious questions as varsity is trying to save the main culprit, he alleged. Ajeet even raised questions on the company Promark which was given the responsibility and how many people get access to rome freely in the exam center building.

NSUI officials have demanded a resignation of Vice Chancellor S P Kane, Pro-VC Pramod Yeole, Dr Neeraj Khati and a detailed inquiry of the case. They have even raised questions on Promark as how the company can be irresponsible. NSUI team has registered a complaint at Ambazari police station before Nagpur University and demanded a fair inquiry against the people involved.
