Thieves flee with Rs 3.32 lakh booty from senior citizen’s house in Mankapur

Nagpur: An anonymous miscreant allegedly gained entry in a house near Zingabai Takli and fled away with gold, silver ornaments and cash to the tune of Rs 3,32,000 between Dec 2 and 6.

63-year-old complainant Chandrakanta Naresh Fulzale resident of Plot. No. 125, Jai Durga Society, Ganpati Nagar, Zingabai Takli had gone to her mother’s house to attend a birthday celebration between Dec 2 and 6. In the meantime, an unidentified burglar sneaked in her house by breaking open the main entry door and decamped with the valuables worth 3.32lakh.

The theft came to the fore when the complainant returned home, only to find a ransacked house.

Subsequently she rushed to Mankapur police station and lodged a complaint.

Mankapur police have registered a case under section 454,457,380 of IPC and started the probe.
