The ‘Jan Akrosh-Halla Bol’ morcha has also been supported by Shetkari Kamgar Party, People’s Republican Party, Samajwadi Party, and CPM. The ‘Jan Akrosh’ morcha of Congress started from Deekshabhoomi premises while ‘Halla Bol’ morcha of NCP commenced from Dhanwate National College ground. Both the morchas converged at Lokmat Square and marched towards Zero Mile T-Point where a public meeting is being held. A grand stage has been erected at the site. Other leaders who have participated in the morcha include MPCC President Ashok Chavan, Opposition Leader in Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, NCP leaders Praful Patel, Ajit Pawar, MP Supriya Sule, State President Sunil Tatkare, and leaders of both parties from across the state.
Both the parties have been preparing for the morcha since past month. Hundreds of vehicles bringing workers from all parts of state arrived in city in the morning. The morcha is also being participated by farmers, farm labourers, and women.

The Congress leaders led by MPCC President Ashok Chavan claimed that Congress party would demonstrate its strength and this morcha should become a turning point in state politics. This is right moment to encash growing disenchantment among people about Centre and State Governments over farm loan waiver, price rise, economic slowdown, GST and job loss, Chavan claimed. The NCP’s ‘Halla Bol’ morcha which began from Yavatmal and reached Nagpur on Monday has already created right atmosphere. During this 156 km long yatra, all prominent leaders of NCP participated on full time basis and tried to establish rapport with people.
