Nagpur: A young woman was killed when a compound wall of a marriage hall collapsed in Hingna area on Friday.
The deceased, Sharda Nivrutti Aade (30), native of Amgaon, Umred Tehsil, had come to city for attending a wedding being solemnised at Renuka Hall in Hingna area on Friday, June 2. Around 5 pm, the compound wall of the marriage hall suddenly caved in crushing Sharda under the debris. She received serious injuries and was rushed to nearby PSC Hospital. However, the injuries proved fatal and she died at 6.30 pm while undergoing treatment.
Hingna Police Constable Duryodhan, on the basis of information provided by Nivrutti Bhikaji Aade (40), registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
