Nagpur: A 21-year old girl who had come to her relative’s house was raped by a neighbouring man. The accused rapist allegedly threatened to harm the victimised girl if she opened her mouth. The accused has been booked but not arrested so far.
In her complaint, the girl told police that she had gone to her relative’s house in Kalamna in the month of February. During her stay, the accused Satish Chakrapani (34), taking the advantage of an opportunity, entered the house and forcibly raped her. After committing the heinous act, the accused Satish threatened to harm the victimised girl and her family if opened her mouth. However, the girl did not heed the threat and apprised her parents and relatives about her trauma. The relatives asked her to register a case with Kalamna police in this connection.
Acting on the girl’s complaint, Kalamna cops have booked the accused rapist Satish Chakrapani and probing the matter further.
