A walk with designers from Somalwar Fashion designing department

Khadi India Fashion Show was organized by Nikalas Mahila Mahavidyalaya in association with Indrayani Handloom at Kasturchand Park recently. This is an incredible fashion show for promotion of “handloom cloths”. The idea was to encourage handspun khadi in the country as a fashion statement.

The models showcased cape-like jackets and sequins teamed with statement jewellery, flowy gowns, dresses, and structured jackets teamed with snoods in which the designers of Nikalas Mahila Mahavidyalaya played a big role.

Show stopper of the khadi fashion event was Shweta Rohira who is an Indian journalist and best known as ex-wife of Pulkit Samrat. She walked the ramp with a positive attitude with a grace. She was decked in beautiful saree with elegant neck piece.

The show was choreographed by city’s well know fashion choreographer Abhishek Jaiswal. The anchoring was done by Ravi Shukla who kept the audience entertained. The students of Nikalas Mahila Mahavidyalaya performed various dance performances which simply gone with the theme.
