Nagpur: A goon extorted Rs 20,000 from a woman with the force of life threat to her and her family. The goon demanded more money by frightening the woman. Sakkardara cops, after registering an offence, are searching the goon.
The complainant Samina Ali Javed Ali (29), resident of Sindhiban, Motha Tajbagh, told police that she had negotiated a deal to sell her 1000 sq ft plot and had received agreement amount. However, at the same time, the accused Wasim Raja alias Raja Iqbal (23) of Motha Tajbagh extorted Rs 20,000 from her by threatening to kill her and family. Moreover, he demanded Rs 40,000 more on the force of the threat.
Sakkardara PSI Shimpne booked the accused Wasim Raja alias Raja Iqbal under Section 386 of the IPC and searching him.
