Nagpur: Hudkeshwar police have booked three persons on the charges of defrauding a real estate firm in which they were earlier working as commission agents. The accused allegedly negotiated land deals without authorization, forged sale agreements and gobbled up money in the name of the real estate firm.
The three accused have been identified as Suresh Narnavre, Pankaj Dhanraj Katole (28), both residents of Bhagwan Nagar and Prashant Anand Gajbhiye (33) of Jaibhim Nagar. The accused were working as commission agents with N K Real Estate and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, Besa, run by Kanchan Chauraji Gothe in partnership. Between January 2015 and July 8, 2016, the accused directly negotiated land deals with Kiran Patel of Yavatmal and Dipendra Rangari, forged the sale agreements by changing the last four pages and signed the documents in the name of the complainant Kanchan Gothe. The money given by the customers amounting to over Rs 2.85 lakh was pocketed by the accused instead of depositing with the firm.
API Ghadge, based on a complaint, has booked the accused under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of IPC and probing the matter further.
