
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis has resigned from the Axis Bank after over two decades of working in the private bank.
Amruta was posted as a Senior Vice President. Amruta, a banker, playback singer and social worker, however, has not specified anything about her future journey.
In a post on X, the 46-year-old Amruta announced her decision.

“Twenty-three years ago, I walked into Axis Bank as a young Management Trainee. Today, I signed off as Senior Vice President, with a heart full of gratitude. With experience spanning branch operations to corporate banking , treasury to customer relations , this institution has been my family, teacher and second home,” she said in an emotional note.
“Grateful to my colleagues and leaders, especially MD & CEO Amitabh Chaudhry, for all the support. As this beautiful chapter closes, I carry lifelong lessons and friendships. Thank You, Axis Bank,” she said.
