
Nagpur: Young gymnast Rahinya Gulhane from Nagpur delivered an outstanding performance at the 20th Trampoline & Tumbling Gymnastics State Championship 2025-26, held in Mumbai on February 14 and 15, clinching three medals and bringing laurels to the city.
Competing in the Mini Age Group category, Rahinya secured a Silver medal in the Tumbling Finals and two Bronze medals, one in the Overall Individual Ranking and another in the Team Championship, where the Nagpur team finished third overall.

In addition to her individual achievements, Rahinya played a pivotal role in helping Nagpur secure third place in the team event, underlining her contribution to the city’s overall performance at the state-level competition.
Rahinya has been undergoing rigorous training under Head Coach Manthan Bhalavi, along with Club Mentor Mayuresh Shirshikar and Coaches Sanket Vinchurkar and Varun Kale. Her success reflects consistent dedication, disciplined practice, and professional guidance.
The achievement was widely appreciated by the management of Dhanwate National College. Principal Dr. Prashant Kothe, Head of the Physical Education Department Dr. Devendra Wankhade, Dr. Subhash Dadhe, Dr. Vandana Ingle, Prof. Jayant Jichkar, Mayuresh Shirshikar, Praveen Jadhav, and Lalit Kukde congratulated Rahinya for her remarkable performance. They also encouraged students to actively participate in the club’s regular evening practice sessions to excel in sports.
Officials said the achievement highlights the growing standard of gymnastics talent emerging from Nagpur and reflects the strong training ecosystem developed by Shivaji Gymnastics Club. The club expressed confidence that Rahinya will continue to scale greater heights in upcoming competitions.
