
Nagpur: To clear the anticipated passenger rush, Central Railway (CR) will operate 12 special train services between Mumbai, Pune to Nagpur during February 2026 under its Special Timetable On Demand (TOD) scheme, officials said.
The special services will operate on the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)–Nagpur, Pune–Nagpur and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)–Nagpur routes.
LTT–Nagpur specials
The LTT–Nagpur–LTT special trains (Nos. 01021/01022) will run four services. Train No. 01021 will depart from LTT at 12.55 am on February 14 and 21 and reach Nagpur at 3.45 pm the same day.
On the return leg, Train No. 01022 will leave Nagpur at 8 pm on February 14 and 21 and arrive at LTT at 11.45 am the following day.
These trains will have LHB coaches, including one AC 2-tier, six AC 3-tier, nine sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, one general second-class-cum-guard brake van, and a generator car.
Pune–Nagpur specials
Central Railway will also operate four services of the Pune–Nagpur–Pune special trains (Nos. 01467/01468). Train No. 01467 will depart from Pune at 3.50 pm on February 13 and 20 and arrive in Nagpur at 6.30 am the next day.
The return service, Train No. 01468, will depart Nagpur at 8 am on February 14 and 21 and reach Pune at 11.30 pm the same day.
Bookings open February 10
Bookings for all the special trains will open from February 10 at all computerised reservation centres and on the IRCTC website. Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys in advance and take advantage of the additional services.
